Many boaters will remember Edna and Al Brown, long time residents and
settlers of Shawl Bay, who developed this well-protected corner of the
bay into a unique, friendly resort.
Now the next generation assisted by Edna's sister, Joanne Didriksen, are
carrying on the tradition-expansion and friendliness that have been a
hallmark of Shawl Bay.

As you approach from the East, go
past the Simoom Sound entrance and Trivett Rock; head west down Penphrase
Channel. Round Wishart Peninsula at Vigis Point and stay right.
From the West, go past Stackhouse Island
and head for Vigis Point. Go Past the "slow" sign as you enter
the small bay, continue past the rock island to the marina at the back of
Shawl Bay on your left. |
